Biography
Born in 2002, Daniele began studying music at age 8 in his local band’s preparatory courses. He later studied at the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro with A. Domizi, M. Fratini, and Federico Mondelci.
He has performed at major festivals such as Rewire (The Hague), Lago Maggiore Festival, and Visioninmusica (Terni), and attended masterclasses with renowned saxophonists including Arno Bornkamp, Claude Delangle, Otis Murphy, and Simon Diricq.
Daniele has won several international competitions: Città di Vimodrone (1st Absolute Prize, 2018), Città di Belluno (2nd Prize with Special Mention, 2019), Città di Massa (1st Prize, 2022), and Luigi Zanuccoli (1st Prize, 2022).
Since 2021, he has been principal saxophone of the Italian National Youth Symphonic Wind Orchestra, performing as soloist in Cantos Cerimoniales by A. Sormani at Teatro Morlacchi. He is also a member of the National Youth Saxophone Orchestra under Federico Mondelci and has appeared as soloist with the Filarmonica Marchigiana, performing Ibert’s Concertino da camera.
He earned his Master’s in Classical Saxophone at the Rossini Conservatory in 2024 with highest honors and is currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague with Lars Niederstrasser. There, he is expanding into contemporary, electronic music, and original composition.
